Having said that we never ate the cherries, they made you squint with their acid ferocity. My father in law would collect them but thankfully he never offered us anything that he made with them.Ali Whalehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00526098221878448344noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831075779288351551.post-36663167089417016502014-04-16T07:24:55.117+01:002014-04-16T07:24:55.117+01:00We have inherited two mature cherry trees in previ...We have inherited two mature cherry trees in previous houses. One keeled over and the other split in two. I miss them terribly. I should plant another of course but 23 years is a long wait and I'll be very old!Lucillehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14414527658216916537noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831075779288351551.post-22091447953994414262014-04-15T22:32:44.223+01:002014-04-15T22:32:44.223+01:00my cherry tree I planted when we moved in is about...my cherry tree I planted when we moved in is about to flower for the first time ever. And the cherries themselves, delicious. I've just put a tiny cherry in my front garden, and I'm ridiculously excited about the first tiny green shoots!CJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14311693185700341580noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831075779288351551.post-80692531556378901822014-04-15T08:02:55.831+01:002014-04-15T08:02:55.831+01:00Um, my neighbour has a magnolia and I hate it with...Um, my neighbour has a magnolia and I hate it with all my guts. Its leaves are like wax and given we live along a stairway it is VERY dangerous, not to mention I must sweep 100 times a day as they all fall into my terrace too. And flowers? I never see ANY. Just those red seeds granates ... UGH, it's awlful! <br />Look at your marvelous, gentle, tender cherry tree instead! I love that!!! A normal tree, wiht gorgeous fruit to boot.Paolahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16106203770822701470noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831075779288351551.post-48349079941294623442014-04-15T06:25:47.085+01:002014-04-15T06:25:47.085+01:00A lesson in appreciating what we already haveA lesson in appreciating what we already haveelaine https://www.blogger.com/profile/17075935631756457901noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831075779288351551.post-49137082842098368742014-04-15T00:05:16.587+01:002014-04-15T00:05:16.587+01:00Indeed, but I am glad that your vexation in this r...Indeed, but I am glad that your vexation in this regard has been resolved and with such great beauty! xxAmy at love made my homehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17111180584250029433noreply@blogger.com
