I have been so good
I have worked my way down The List
tree
wreath
mistletoe
candles
fairy lights
decorations
cake
mince pies
presents

so I allowed myself an evening off
to look at pounce pots and inkstands.

And now, mentally refreshed,
I shall go and finish my cards.

Yes...I do know it is 21st December
late late cards is a Family Tradition
and I'm holding my nerve.

  1. me too.
    late cards.
    but, it is good.
I feel relatively calm and organized.
    grateful for my days off.

  2. My new tradition is New Year Cards. I am hoping that I can catch everyone looking reasonably attractive on Christmas Eve or Day and snap a decent family photo for inclusion in said cards. It's a beautiful dream anyway.

  3. I'm in awe of your nerves.
Mine are in shreds because I have to be at Waitrose by 8am and am dreading it...

  4. I have posted my postie ones, but still have to distribute the village cards. They sit in a pile on the dresser and haunt me. I admire your strength of character.

  6. Over here, it's "woman, collapsing"

Actually, it's so under control I am wondering what huge thing I have forgotten ...

  9. 21st December is Brass-Neck Time for me - that is, if I haven't sent a card by now, I don't bother. And pray that the non-recipients don't notice....
