A red, red rose

Gather ye rosebuds while ye may,
Old Time is still a-flying;
And this same flower that smiles today,
Tomorrow will be dying.

Robert Herrick 1591 - 1674

Each year I find it difficult to throw away
the rosebuds from the last day of school.

They dry to a elegant reminder of a happy day.
