No more questions, just a remark! I really identify with you there, it looks like my dinner on Tuesday night when I came home from Bible College and ate alone.
Oh, Sight of Morning, dear thing. You absolutely, simply must, immediately get 'The China Study' by T Colin Campbell. Do it now, read it immediately... Anna
I'm laughing at the comment from "anonymous" re "an oeuf is an oeuf"............. and now my question has gone out of my head (it doesn't take much to make me forgetful these days)..........
I have an egg phobia..that is, I can't eat a fried egg if I haven't cooked it, in my own pan; a poached egg is a possibility..but I need to know how hard it is...boiled is ok as long as its a good 5 minutes. I must say your poached looks like my type of egg. Was there salt?

Yes, did you have ketchup with it?
Yes, what did you drink with it?
Delicious!!!
that's no yolk ...
had two poached eggs for breakfast but although they were very good they were not in the same league as MrsM's
Definitely inherited. Your mother will always eat a poached egg at the slightest excuse.
So, did you have a second slice? I would have.
surely a remix would be scrambled egg ??
Sounds good to me!
I love the look and language and humour of your blog: it is a bright spot in my day.
But .. the bread looks far too wholesome, the egg too perfectly cooked and there is no slavering of brown sauce over it.
Ah, my favourite! Did you not have any parma ham though? Or asparagus? DID YOU NOT EVEN PLAN?
I love poached egg on very buttered toast! It is simple food at its best.
I like the parrot poised to pinch.
Mr M - un oeuf is un oeuf
No. Looks absolutely perfect to me as it is.
The Coffee Lady is so fancy.
May I please come over and have one too?

I made the flapjacks and so now I must have a poached egg. What am I having for supper tomorrow Alice?
it would have been a boiled egg if it had been my supper, I am USEless at poached eggs......
I don't know why a poached egg I make for myself is never as nice and tasty as a poached egg someone else makes for me. But it's true.
