Movie Night

MrsM
I feel like watching Love Actually

MrM
We don't have Love Actually...

what about:
(1)
What's Eating Gilbert Grape?
(2)
The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance
(3)
Death of a Salesman
(4)
The Bicycle Thieves

MrsM
I am not sensing that you are listening to me.

MrM
Okay...
Okay...
Here is my wild card.

  1. Interesting options! I especially liked the way Liberty Valance was tossed into the mix :)

Thursday I borrowed 4 DVDs from the library and today I remembered why I had stopped doing this. Because last night I watched 4 movies. Last night, late last night, and very, very early this morning, that is. (yawwwwwwn)

  4. Mr M and Mr DC would get on alarmingly well, I feel.

I agree with BB. I've nearly taken Love Actually from the shelves a few times recently only to replace it thinking "Wait until December."

I sense it may be a Bridget Jones evening here ...

  5. I haven't watched a movie with Fabio in AGES.
He's not a movie person, unless is silly Italian comedy (boo).
    It's sad.

  7. Mmm, none of Mr M's alternatives cut the mustard when compared to Hugh Grant forced to sing carols, I feel. I should hunt out a copy soon, Alice.

  9. It was watching 'What's Eating Gilbert Grape' that I first swooned over Johnny Depp.

  14. all of this could have been avoided with a coffee cake ...

I am reminded of this http://thesightofmorning.blogspot.com/2009/07/war-talk.html - our tastes are not identical.

Also I am younger than Hugh Grant which put MissM right off him.

WV : oevor - should that not be oeuvre ??
