Interesting options! I especially liked the way Liberty Valance was tossed into the mix :)
ReplyDeleteThursday I borrowed 4 DVDs from the library and today I remembered why I had stopped doing this. Because last night I watched 4 movies. Last night, late last night, and very, very early this morning, that is. (yawwwwwwn)
Fail!
ReplyDeletePrince Charming has same taste in wild cards!
ReplyDeleteYes. It's nearly Love Actually season.
ReplyDeleteMr M and Mr DC would get on alarmingly well, I feel.
ReplyDeleteI agree with BB. I've nearly taken Love Actually from the shelves a few times recently only to replace it thinking "Wait until December."
I sense it may be a Bridget Jones evening here ...
I haven't watched a movie with Fabio in AGES.
ReplyDeleteHe's not a movie person, unless is silly Italian comedy (boo).
It's sad.
You could borrow our Love Actually :) K x
ReplyDeleteMmm, none of Mr M's alternatives cut the mustard when compared to Hugh Grant forced to sing carols, I feel. I should hunt out a copy soon, Alice.
ReplyDeleteI sense a breakdown in communication. I fancy watching Love Actually now!
ReplyDeleteIt was watching 'What's Eating Gilbert Grape' that I first swooned over Johnny Depp.
ReplyDeleteI watch Love Actually all year long. As well as The Holiday. Also listen to both soundtracks all year long. My family forgives me.
ReplyDeleteActually I really enjoyed invictus!
ReplyDeletethe carol singing on the doorstep is my most fave bit. followed by the expression on the mum's face when she has to make the costume for the 3rd lobster xxx
ReplyDeleteHe just doesn't get it does he. When you want to watch Love Actually you want to watch Love Actually! I watch it any time not just at Christmas it's one of my favourite films.
ReplyDeleteHope Mr M redeems himself by buying it for you.
all of this could have been avoided with a coffee cake ...
ReplyDeleteI am reminded of this http://thesightofmorning.blogspot.com/2009/07/war-talk.html - our tastes are not identical.
Also I am younger than Hugh Grant which put MissM right off him.
WV : oevor - should that not be oeuvre ??
I love the film "the man who shot Liberty Valance", what a classic!! but haven't watched it in years... Bill Nighy really made me laugh in Love actually, actually!! Pati x
ReplyDeleteI hope you watched it!!
ReplyDeleteI know it's a little about rugby, but I really really enjoyed it...
