view from the bus stop

In the evening
the sun illuminates the west side
and the red brick glows.
It still surprises and delights me,
this vast Victorian 'chateau',
I must photograph it more often.

Sheesh.

You'd be dismayed with my place of work.

Is it very wrong of me to think yesterdays photo beautiful too. I am starting a diet - no other explanation needed really I think.

I wouldn't care if the bus didn't turn up if I could stand and look at that................

And what a beautiful bus shelter.

How lovely to be able to stop and stare at that.

I am reminded of a very old joke about where does the number 40 bus stop ?

I write this safe in the knowledge that MrsM is unlikely to get to read this for a while as she is off to have her hair cut or coiffed - looks lovely anyway of course

Just wow.
And now I want to know the joke.

That's a beautiful site. I wish we could put that much love and design
into buildings these days...
