We have decided that we like this idea
for lazy weekend breakfasts.
They must be plain,virtuous cakes.
This one is a lemon cake packed with vitamins
and made with organic probiotic yogurt
so I think we can permit a light icing.

Breakfast cake! I like the sound of that...
Oh, goodness it looks lovely..but where are the chia seeds, the hemp seeds, and the nutritional yeast?
(just teasing..i eat all of these things, but aren't we funny?)
One is ALWAYS entitled - no indeed OBLIGED to have nail polish that breaks the rules... otherwise seriously... what's the point? :-)
I think two slices are in order, so you can be extra virtuous.

I always thought breakfast was the best meal of the day.
Cake is practically the only breakfast I ever feel like eating.
cake is a perfectly balanced breakfast! it has all the same ingredients as egg on toast followed by a slice of toast with lemon curd. nothing unusual with that breakfast, therefore yours is perfect too. except that I am a bit jealous.....

Cake for breakfast... I'm totally with you and like your thinking Mrs M. However I think I'm with Master M on the toenails (Although gree perfectly good for fingernails... very Sally Bowles)
Two things ...
No.1 There is nothing wrong with green toe nail varnish - it is a perfectly acceptable colour.
No.2 Cake or CHOC ICE for breakfast! Both perfectly acceptable ~ that is what comes of running a Guide Unit.

Oh Yummy I REALLY like the sound of breakfast cake. I think you aught to patent the idea before it goes global.
I think green nail polish makes a statement, rather like cake at breakfast, you are in an adventurous phase obviously.

Dull women never make history! Have you tried a really dark navy blue? Goes great with red, orange and pink clothing.
I'm a conservative 50 year old accountant and wearing a dark glimmery brown on my fingers! College boy son said they looked nice :) I would like to dive them into some chocolate breakfast cake!
I'll make a note to remove my green varnish (currently wearing it ooops) when meeting MasterN. Wouldn't want him to think we're ALL orcs ...
I see cake for breakfast is quite the novelty for you all ... we eat it all the time (not creamy ones though), when I bake that is. How weird is it that we have such different habits.
