Ahhh Mrs M

but feel today is the day to mention it

You Have The Best Commenters In Blogland

Thank you, Jules!

Acceptance Speech

I am proud to accept this award
on behalf of you all,
The Best Commenters In Blogland.

I am amazed that you turn up day after day
and make your Comment Box
a place of such laughter, friendship,
information and compassionate insight.

Thank you to each and every reader
who has commented and made me smile.

(Even MrM, who has been temporarily grounded
after recent attempts to incite censorship.)

  1. LOL... I had to go read through all those comments... I fail in using my bananas so often that my head is hung low in shame. :(

However, I will remember the recently glory of baking almost 200 chocolate chip cookies for Pascha/Easter ... after the service our lovely priest blessed our overflowing baskets and one of my baskets was brimming with the cookies. The kids after the aforementioned basket blessing, started all coming to me, saying 'we heard you have cookies' :) It was great! :)

  2. Well Alice, my theory is this: With very few words you make us all THINK. And then you come with MrM, so we all get a good chuckle; makes for some great comments!!

  8. It is a fun place to hang out, your comment stream.

And, MrM: Tsk, Tsk. Careful not to rile the hand that makes the coffee cake!

  9. Congratulations to Us. I love my Commenters - often they are more interesting than the drivel I have just posted.

I think you are right to take a sterner approach to MrM. It wouldn't do at all if he were to usurp the blogging crown. It would mean wall-to-wall coffee cake....

  10. Why have a blog and bark oneself ?

Perhaps the coffee cake is a form of protection racket or graft ? To buy my silence on a regular basis. The electronic version of Danegeld ?

MrsM thinks that I post comments when I know she is in meetings. You might think that but I could not possibly comment :-)
