MrsM is reading the magazines
at the hairdressers...

"Kate's Luscious Tresses!!
You can have them too!!"

MrsM looks at her hair in the mirror.
It is short and straight...
it is not a ravishing brunette.
MrsM knows in her heart
this will never be true
and another dream dies.

Chiara, the scary hairdresser,
says in a coaxing tone...

"Well, you use the same shampoo
which is a start..."

    I don't know about you but I am too old to believe in such things.
    Short, thin, grey hair is my lot.

    Chiara sounds like a real hairdresser.
    They'd sell and tell you anything.
    And I am not particularly in love with Kate, I've probably said this before but I'll reconfirm it, just to be sure.

    When I grumble about my thin, fine, poor quality hair...my hairdresser agrees there's not a lot to be done. I would like to dream but it's hard when the voice of reality is your hairdresser speaking!

    My white hair is very fine and short and therefore flat - unless I use a mousse, which I do every day. I was used to buying the one that I favour in the local supermarket but now they have stopped stocking it and the only place I can buy it is from Amazon, how odd is that?

    Short hair is so much easier to cope with in the morning.

    I just knew you moved in exalted circles, using the same shampoo as Kate Middleton is surely the sign of quality tresses.
