My Glamorous Life

Outside my office today:

Olympic rowers
Olympic canoeists

Police helicopter
Police snipers
Police on motorbikes
Police in patrol cars
Police checking access route

Soldiers with sharp haircuts
Sniffer dogs

Operator for road barriers
Operator for traffic lights
Operator for personnel scanner

Security guards in yellow
Olympic assistants in purple

(and three men from Facilities
wearing extra long thick gloves
trying to extract dead rats
from the air conditioning system
because I complained about the smell)

  2. Alice, I just don't of you as that hard core. Hyacinth bowls and a fluffy soft beds and that sort of thing only, no snipers. (or rats)

  3. It's the rats that make the story, as you well know.

I made a cup of espresso for Philippe Petit!

  4. I wonder if they will scan the rats on the way out (assuming the long gloved facilities blokes manage to snag them).

  6. I am glad to see you are taking your duties as official rower spotter seriously. Regular reports are needed, as you know.

Goodness me, dead rats! I hope they have been moved.
