Brassica oleracea

On the tenth day of October...

MrM gave to me...

an ornamental cabbage.

He's groovy like that.

Many thanks to my kind MrM
for setting up
my shiny new laptop

and thanks to you all
for your thoughtful words.

I've got so much to tell you -
shall we start with pictures
from the South of France?

  1. What a sweet gift and so very beautiful. It reminds me of gorgeous and fragile porcelain. Oh, spelling on that last word?
You get the drift..such fragile loveliness.

  2. Well, MrsM, you can even make an ornamental cabbage look enticing. I am almost - almost - tempted to go and buy one for myself but I know in my house I would just be asked why I hadn't put the vegetable shopping away. Or perhaps I would be informed that "we don't like cabbage." sigh.
