A Room With A View

MissM will see this view
when she opens her curtains
every morning for the next year.

Yesterday I stood at the window
watching the pigeons fly around the tower,
listening to the bells chime the hour,
absorbing the beauty of it,
and I was so glad for her.

  1. Is that Hogwarts? From an Australian perspective all those fancy stone spires and towers clearly indicate that it is...

  3. What a gorgeous uplifting view to start the day - lucky girl! That combined with the morning cuppa in that lovely teapot should put a spring in her step even on the most daunting of days

  5. Such a lucky girl. Thinking of you today as I've just packed my two off this morning - both my girls gone for the first time! I need more tea - can I offer you a cup too?

  10. Naturally she will be far too immersed in her studies to pause for even a few seconds to enjoy that fabulous view.

(I love that peppermint patcher said Hogwarts. I thought Cambridge because I am rational and boring like that).
