because everyone is somewhere else.
I think about our holiday
which seems so long ago
and remember the pleasure
of buying from a market stall
and the joy of spending time
with my husband and son and daughter.
and I hear their laughter
and it fills the silence.
silence and good memories to fill it.

So sweet! :-)
ReplyDeleteThat's a veritable bonbon explosion! And I love that first photo - it looks like a painting!
ReplyDeleteAh yes, the silence.
ReplyDeleteI could do with some of those sweeties!
Peace and quiet - bliss
ReplyDeleteI am longing for the silence tomorrow and yet I know that when it arrives I will miss them.
ReplyDeleteHolidays do make for such very sweet memories.
Delicious post with delicious photos. I know I am "bringing up the rear" here, but congratulations on your anniversary.
ReplyDeleteI am sure that is half the reason for going on holiday - the memories can provide as much pleasure as the experience itself. And you're very lucky that your children still want to come with you!

How lovely!
ReplyDeleteHowever if you are ever in that situation again let me give you my phone number and I can ring you up and moan incessantly till you beg for silence.
It will be my treat.
The colours ...
