Selective Memory

MissM is reorganising her room.

MissM
I think I might move my bed under the window.
It will create more space.

MrsM
What a good idea!
I wonder why I never thought of that?

MissM
It WAS under the window a long time ago.

MrsM
How extraordinary - I had completely forgotten!
Did I move it to stop MasterM
from climbing out of the window?

MissM
No...
it was to stop me
jumping off the sink
onto the bed.

  2. I used to move my furniture around the room ALL the time at my parents'. Without help, just for FUN. Now my bed is cemented in the wall ... OY.

  3. Presumably she has gone past the stage of wanting to jump off the sink?

  7. You just made me remember the room I shared with Gran when I stayed at her place in London had a sink in it....most unusual for aussie bedrooms unless it is an en-suite and I am assuming your daughters room is not??
