MrsM is waiting for a train with MissM.
They are surrounded by people dressed for the City.
MrsM
(excited)
Check.Out.Those.Shoes!!
MissM
(nonchalant)
Oh yes...
Reverse Heel...
Very Sixties...
Modernism and all that...
MrsM is crushed.
How does MissM know these things?

What the???? I have never seen anything like that...can people actually walk in those :-)
ReplyDeletethose kind of make me uncomfortable to look at.
ReplyDeletewell I'm impressed.
ReplyDeleteboth by the style, and the colour x
and in fact that anyone can even walk in them. I went to a meeting in very conventional heels last Thursday. I am still suffering.
I don't remember them. But then you know what they say about the Sixties.
ReplyDeleteWell I certainly have learned something new. They are rather fabulous in a weird sort of way.
ReplyDeleteMiss M is a fountain of knowledge about all things sartorial. I"m amazed you were surprised!
ReplyDeleteAfter seeing what Lady Gaga wears ... these are NORMAL.
ReplyDeleteI think my brain hurts a little bit now.
ReplyDeleteIsn't that heel just waiting to snap off?
ReplyDeleteReally? Okay. I think those might just tip me over the edge first thing in the morning if I had to put them on.
ReplyDeletethis is clearly MissM bringing MrsM to heel in the fashion stakes.
ReplyDeleteI was never at the races in the first place
I think they're really funky not sure how comfy though perhaps just to stand in and look fabulous.
ReplyDeleteLike Lucille, I don't remember those in the sixties either! Can't imagine wearing them - but then I can twist my ankle in a ballet pump..
ReplyDeleteFeeling very out of it now.
ReplyDeleteK x
They do not look comfortable.
ReplyDeleteOh dear; to me they look like someone snapped the heel off on a drunken night out and then got busy with the Araldite.
ReplyDeleteI am a fashion philistine, and I apologise.
Did you actually see someone actually walking actually from one point to another in these shoes? I can't believe they're a piece of functionality!
ReplyDeleteAre they really 60s? I don't remember them and I had many many shoes in the 60s. All my heels faced the right way though.
