It was a wonderful day. MissM put on the robes and the hat and received the Hug and she was graduated. We clapped and nodded at all the glowing words said about the Class of 2014 and smiled at our daughter who had worked so hard. There were photos with parents and friends...with scroll...without hats. There were balloons and bubbles and cupcakes. And the sun shone. A day to be grateful for all the good things that life can bring us.
Many thanks to MissM for letting me share these photos with you.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations to MissM and to the proud parents also. We have just had that very proud moment for the second time also this summer! I said when my eldest graduated 4 years ago that I finally got it; as when I graduated, I had actually got married the previous Saturday and was reluctant to hang around for graduation as all my best friends were wedding guests. Mum and Dad were adamant- I now understand that immense pride. Sorry for such a long comment.
ReplyDeleteOh how fantastic. Congratulations to Ms M. And to the proud parents. :-)
ReplyDeleteHappy day!
ReplyDeleteChance to show off rather a louche pair of brown suede shoes on my part. Simple answer is that I forgot to pack my normal pair of black shoes
ReplyDeleteCongrats to MissM! Also to the proud parents!
ReplyDelete(And I actually noticed the brown suedes, and thought to myself, MrM is a Man of Hidden Depths!)
Oh such joy, I can feel it, thank you all so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI think MrM is a trendsetter with his shoes. Alice you are justly radiant, and MissM? A vision, a well educated vision. ( dazzling smile! )
Thank you to everyone for your kind comments and best wishes for the future! It was a very lovely day!
ReplyDeleteOh wow! Congratulations to MissM. I've just been catching up on some of my old favourite blogs. It seems that time has passed so quickly!
