care package

Look what arrived in the post...

It's Tea Bag Bunting meets Advent Calendar!!

Don't you just love it?
All those tiny little clothes pegs
and the carefully chosen tea bags.
I am going to have a sneaky trial run
of the Tranquility tea tonight.

My care package came from Ali
who has a magical touch with personalised gifts.

It was the perfect pick-me-up...
not just the tea bags
and the cute clothes pegs
but the kindness that leaked out
as soon as I cut the reindeer tape on the box.

  3. I have to admit that I have always been curmudgeonish about those gift-a-day Advent calendars for children that either (a) add to the mountain of stuff that accumulates in December or (b) keep them hyper on sugar all month or (c) add more busyness via promises of big, special daily activities. But this is FAB.

Ali rules the planet. (Enjoy your teas, and feel free to provide reviews.)

  14. sounds like MrsM's cup of tea ...

did I ever tell you that I was originally inveigled in on false pretences on the strength of MrsM's tea collection ...

WV: realita - so true. Eventually I smelt the coffee

  15. Oh oh oh I love it. I have a bit of a thing for bunting, but bunting combined with tea could there be a better combination? Not in my book.

  16. I wouldn't have been able to resist a little sample either, if something looked tasty. We will see if hubby manages more self control with his beer version (somehow, I doubt it).

And it is the first Sunday of Advent, so I think a sampling is in order. How was it?
