Thank you to Lecia for this delicious recipe.

  1. Excellent. And I know that Douwe Egberts coffee jar has "family heirloom" in its future.

  2. My footnotes never look half so elegant!

    Sounds delish.

  3. I am really starting to like your idea of new Christmas traditions, elegant decorations and cocktails a good combination to rouse that Christmas spirit.

  4. If traditions are like that, I'm all for it.

  5. I'm wondering what the traditional time of day for this tradition will tradiionally be?!

  6. A most notable and applaudable tradition Mrs M.

  7. Uncomfortably reminiscent of the Wylie cocktail from student days - I am sure that the elderflower makes all the difference . . .

    Pomona x

  8. shaken not stirred of course

  9. I've always been partial to a glass of eggnog, or several, myself. It is good, however, that you have started a new tradition. Bottoms up!

  10. See, this is the sort of thing that makes me wish I could drink. I'm going to track down the elderflower (?) liquer and make one for my sister the next time I see her. She does my drinking for me.

Thank you! I love reading your comments and even though I don't always have time to reply I am really grateful to every one who joins in the conversation.
