What a lovely Saturday routine. Aren't books, flowers and cake the three essential food groups?
A man with a favourite florist? Do you know how lucky you are?
That man knows the art of romancing! Any chance he might spread the word?
I love Ali's philosophy xoxo
So sweet! K x
I think Mr G has a lot he could learn from Mr M. Roses on a Saturday? What a perfect gentleman!
there are no depths that the dedicated coffee cake hound is not prepared to plumb ...
Mr Smooth Operator... or is he doing just for cake?
as opposed to the dessicated coconut cake hound ...
Don't think my husband has ever been into a florist unaccompanied! He'd did come home with a basket of quinces today though and they do smell wonderful.
I don't think Mr R knows flowers exist. He did bring me a bunch of baby turnips once, though. (I think he thought they'd make a nice stew.)
Oh, let him sweat for his coffee cake. Two roses. And a new book.
Wow - what a lovely, unusual blog. My first visit, but I'll be back! I get given flowers from tha allotment:)
Oh. I think I'll have to send PC to Mr M training school!
When you think about it, flowers are the perfect gift to express love: they are quite expensive, are very beautiful, and totally ephemeral, except for the memory of the receiving.(I wish I was a little more articulate.I'm sure you now what I mean)
I've made Mr M a cake...
Could Mr M please have a quiet word with my Mr M?
Thank you! I love reading your comments and even though I don't always have time to reply I am really grateful to every one who joins in the conversation.
