I know, I know,
I spoil him...

But he has worked so hard this week
and I think that he deserved it.

He also humoured me
and contributed to the Advent List
of Good Things To Do in December.

Otherwise known as
"The Freeze-Yer-Nuts-Off List"
due to the number of outdoor activities.

Okay, tantalizer -- what's on that list?
Good cake! It's good to do a bit of spoiling now and then!
boys are very good at worming their way to their mother's heart...
love it! the cake and the list!
As a person who will soon be on the roof cleaning the chimney, I find the idea of baking a cake particularly appealing today.
Or eating a cake. Eating a cake would be good, too.
Enjoy, lucky Mr. M!
Obviously it would be nothing less thana cofee and walnut cake, yes?
The cake looks lovely. He's a very lucky man! And I could definitely use a few hints for Good Things to Do in December... K x
I am trying to persuade someone to make me a cake, but so far no takers! You are very welcome to come to tea here, and I promise I will only eat a tiny piece, and leave the rest for Mr M.

I think I might make me one of those lists.
I KNEW you'd come through and bake him that cake after all.
Looks yummy too!

Best name for an advent list - even when you do inside stuff during advent its normally bloody freezing (cold church anyone?!)

Would those be the walnuts?
that cake looks even better than the chocolate version especially the icing - a recipe perchance? pretty please
"Absence makes the heart grow fonder"......... especially with cakes!! Hope he enjoyed it. :O)
So... the nuts on the cake are intended as compensation?
The cake looks delicious! Love the unofficial name of the list.
