Drinks in the Interval

MrsM and MissM admire the woman
with the hand embroidered turquoise coat.

MrsM
Do you think it is an asymmetric cut?

MissM
No, I think she has made a mistake doing the buttons up.

MrsM and MissM ponder the lifestyle
which has enough money to buy designer coats
but not enough time to look in the mirror.

Perhaps it is true...
money can't buy everything.

Ooops. We've all had days where we feel like our buttons are done up the wrong way.

I really appreciate your little vignettes of sophistication: I do feel that you must lead a very exciting life to find yourself in company with such a coat - I find myself in the company of waxed cotton and Goretex far too often. I think I have become a bumpkin, only able to dream of trips up to town as I sit here in a sea of mud.

Maybe it was to give the impression of: "Oh, this old thing darling" (eyes rolling upwards).... "I've had it ages! Just threw it on this morning"..............

Obviously not quite affluent enough to employ a personal dresser then - you have to feel sorry for her really

MrsM of course pines for a Welsh dresser

perhaps it's a fashion statemement. No 2 started doing that with his school shirts... on purpose.

Because nobody else does it.

(can you imagine what his teenage years will be like???)
